Outcome HC is Hiring a Maintenance Assistant Near Union, NJ
TheMaintenance Assistant isresponsiblefortheoverallmaintenanceoperationofthefacility,andhe/sheis responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on equipment. Other responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant includeorderingandrequisitioningsuppliesandequipmentasneeded,performingregulardaily,weeklyand monthly maintenance checks, as shown on "Preventive Maintenance Calendar," TheMaintenance Assistant followsestablishedsafetyrulesandpoliciesandproceduresofthe maintenancedepartment,keepsrequiredrecordsandsubmits themtotheAdministratorandDirectorofProperty Managementwhenrequiredandcooperateswithotheremployeesanddepartmentheads.
Responsibilities:
-PerformsoverallsupervisionoftheMaintenanceDepartmentincluding"handson"performanceof maintenance and repairwork;
- Maintainsthebuildingingoodrepairandfreeofhazardssuchasthosecausedbyelectrical,plumbing,heating and cooling systems,etc.;
-MaintainsthebuildingandgroundsincompliancewithFederal,Stateandlocallaws;
-Assist with maintainingthefirealarmandemergencygeneratorsystemingoodworkingorder,performstestonfirealarm andemergencygeneratorsystemweeklyandkeepsrequiredrecordsoftestsresults;
- MaintainsrequiredrecordsandreportsasoutlinedinthepoliciesandproceduresoftheMaintenance Department;
- Helps with oncallforemergencies;
- Performsotherresponsibilities,asmayberequired,andasdirectedbytheMaintenance Director or Administrator;
16Concernshis/herselfwiththesafetyofallfacilityresidentsinordertominimizethepotentialforfireand accidents.Also,ensuresthatthefacilityadherestothelegal,safety,health,fireandsanitationcodesbybeing familiarwithhis/herroleincarryingoutthefacility'sfire,safetyanddisasterplansandbybeingfamiliarwith currentMSDS;
17PutsResidentServiceFirst:Ensuresthatresidentsandfamiliesreceivethehighestqualityofserviceina caringandcompassionateatmospherewhichrecognizestheindividual'sneedsandrights;
18Performs other duties asrequested.
